Coaching

Do you struggle with addiction, drugs, alcohol, dysfunctional relationships, grief, illness….? Do you need motivation?

As a Recovery Coach, I ask questions: How did it happen? I am interested in the present and will improve my clients’ skills and raise competence. As a recovery coach I help my clients to move to a place of wellness and to discover their authentic selves and to resume living their lives.

But the main purpose of Recovery Coaching boils down to:

  • Helping my client to change and move forward in a way that they wish they want to.
  • Building awareness that empowers choice and that leads to change.
  • Supporting my client at every level in becoming the best they want to be.

Treatment for addiction is evolving at a fast pace: That is where the role of recovery coaching becomes more and more vital.

What is Recovery Coaching?

Recovery Coaching is a process and a partnership between the coach and the client, which helps the client to move forward, especially when they are stuck. The coach will help the client to improve their own performance, thus helping them to learn.   People’s biggest obstacles for not achieving our full potential and success come from their internal voices and not they are external.

As a recovery coach, I help clients to silence that inner voice and allow their instincts to take over. Recovery coaching is concerned with the practical issues of setting goals and achieving results within specific time-frames. That means exploring the worst-case scenario and removing the fear. As a coach I do not give advice or make diagnoses, I am objective, non-judgmental, and will assist my client to uncover the steps and strategies best to move forward to a space of wellness.

What does a Recovery Coach do?

What exactly do I do as a Certified Professional Recovery Coach with my clients suffering from addictions, illnesses, grief, dysfunctional relationships, fears ?…. I offer an integrative, client-centered approach, where my clients learn to implement their own life skills in their recovery. My job is to support my clients in pursuing their own goals.  Every client’s struggle is unique and so is their recovery journey. As a coach, I help my clients to build their own unique recovery capital – the internal and external resources they need to sustain their recovery. I support many pathways to recovery.

I focus on structure, self-care, action planning, coping skills, family relationships, accountability, behavioral change, goal setting, triggers, authenticity, and a holistic recovery process. The emphasis here is: helping my clients to learn to be more productive and helping them to handle various aspects of life that might have been affected or broken by their addictions and/or actions.

I work with individuals, families; groups challenged with substance use and addictive behavior disorders.
